Walls do not a prison make

I am getting excited bout my virtual presentation and book discussion with a Folsom Prison reading group. It will be tomorrow, May 20th, from 8:30 to 10:00 via the Internet. What makes me especially happy about this is that in some ways it is a return to an earlier position in life. When I was a graduate student t the University of Kansas, those many years ago, I taught American history classes at Leavenworth Federal Prison. I found that an engaging experience. and I have long wanted to do something with prisoners ever since. I hope it goes well.
